Educational Philosophy

The Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana is a lay, humanistic, pluralistic, democratic and open-to-diversity institution, committed to the development of the country, understanding these characteristics as closely linked to the full realization of all individual members of a collective body having a common history and future.

This is reflected on the educational model whose objective is the formation of people possessing a solid professional preparation, with capabilities as entrepreneurs, leaders, aware of their social and environmental responsibility; professionals who know, handle and produce new technologies, in an understanding that they are a means to accomplish the development of society and ready to address their own learning by means of continuous education processes..
